Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1. Zest lemons and measure out 2 tablespoons.
  2. In blender or food processor mix the sugar and lemon zest until it has infused.
  3. Add lemon juice to running blender.
  4. Add egg yolks one at a time.
  5. 5. Add cooled melted butter.
  6. Strain mixture and place into mason jars.
  7. Cook for 1 hour.

Finishing Steps

  1. Remove from water and allow to cool before storing in refrigerator.
