Ingredients
- 5 egg yorks
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons lemon zest
Directions
- 1. Zest lemons and measure out 2 tablespoons.
- In blender or food processor mix the sugar and lemon zest until it has infused.
- Add lemon juice to running blender.
- Add egg yolks one at a time.
- 5. Add cooled melted butter.
- Strain mixture and place into mason jars.
- Cook for 1 hour.
Finishing Steps
- Remove from water and allow to cool before storing in refrigerator.
