Leek and Potato Soup
My go-to soup, I love the contrast of different flavours, more so that i get to add cream to it. Thats always going to be a winner in my book. Blend, or don't, thats your choice.

I love trying new things, or even the same thing but cooked at different times and temps.
I discovered sous vide when looking at how to smoke food better in the 'low and slow' style.
Is it an addiction now? yep. 100%. but thats not a bad thing.....

Temperature :
180F / 82.2C
Ingredients
- Leak 500g
- Potato 500g
- Onion 250g
- 1 Stock cube (vegetable)
- 300ml water
Directions
- Set your Anova Sous Vide Precision Cooker to 180ºF / 82.2ºC
- Roughly dice vegetables and place in a vac bag or large food bag with a stock cube
Add 300ml of water
- Seal either with your vacuum sealer on a 'moist' setting or using water submersion, be careful to not allow any extra water in though.
Finishing Steps
- If blending, empty content into a suitable container and blend until smooth
- Serve with a swirl of cream and coarse ground pepper.
FYI, you don't need a spoon if you have enough bread
