Ingredients
- Salt
- Pepper
- 2 Tbs Oil
- Chopped Garlic (2-3 cloves)
- Chopped thyme (5-6 twigs, leaves removed)
- 1 Tbs Butter
- 12 Lamb chops (plan for 2 chops per adult)
- Whole garlic cloves (6-8 cloves), optional
- Thyme twigs, optional
Directions
- Chop garlic cloves and thyme. Combine in a small dish with salt, pepper, and 1 Tbs oil. Whisk till uniform and rub onto both sides of lamb chops.
- Placed lamb chops in a bag (vacuum sealed) and allow to sit while Sous vide preheats to 136.
- After cooking for 2 hours, remove chops from bag and place in a pan with heated remaining oil and 1 Tbs butter. Oil should be hot enough that chops sizzles when placed in. Add in whole garlic cloves and thyme twigs if desired for aromatics and serving presentation. Flip chops after 2-3 minutes and sear other side. Both sides should be golden brown.
