Korean Kalbi (Famous Korean Recipe)
Kalbi is a traditional Korean dish. As a Korean myself, I wanted to experiment for a better taste. After many trials, this recipe seemed the best in my opinion. Try it out and see if it fits your tastes!

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of Mirin
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1 cup of soy sauce
- 3 cups of water
- 2~3 sticks of chopped green onion
- 4 cloves of minced garlic
- 1 tsp of minced ginger
- 2 tsp of sesame oil
- 1kg of LA kalbi meat
Directions
- Add 1 tbsp of mirin in a bowl of water. Then, add the LA ribs and wait 30~45 min to let the blood drain from the meat.
- Rinse the meat and combine all the ingredients into the right sized bowl. Leave in the fridge for at least 3 hours.
- decent : 2~3 hrs
- better : 4~7 hrs
- best : 12~36 hrs
- After marinating, pour the meat and the sauce into a bag and sous vide for 11 hours and 30 min to 12 hours at 75*C.
Finishing Steps
- You may eat right away or grill for a short amount of time for your preferences.
