*NOTE This ratio of fat and cannabis will yield more potent butter or oil than one using a ratio of 8ounces coconut oil per 1/2 ounce cannabis This method works with most fats but is tested and confirmed with Butter, Olive Oil, Lard, and Coconut Oil 8 ounces coconut oil for 1 ounce cannabis 16 ounces fat or oil for 1 ounce cannabis Edible Dosing: Average Bud 15-25% THC Average Trim 5-10% THC Quantity in mg x potency= total mg of THC per batch Ex: 3500mg (3.5g) x 15% = 525mg THC (Divide the total mg of THC per serving to get individual dosage of each item)

Directions

  1. Set your Anova Sous Vide Precision Cooker to 185ºF / 85.0ºC
  2. Measure out quantity listed depending on use of fat or oil
  3. Fill mason jar with fat or oil
  4. Cut a piece of cheese cloth big enough to hold all of your material
  5. Tie off cheese cloth containing material into a neat bundle
  6. Place bundle in mason jar with fat or oil
  7. Screw on lid making sure all material is submerged or will be upon fats melting
  8. Place in water and let sit for four hours
  9. Remove from water and open lid of jar
  10. Retrieve bundle of material and squeeze excess liquid from bundle making sure all liquid is extracted
  11. Discard bundle and screw lid back onto the mason jar
  12. Place infused fat into the fridge or pantry and leave until needed

Many Potential Uses

  1. With your now THC infused fat, add it to any of your favorite foods or stony dessert recipes being mindful of dosing
