  1. Prepare pork shoulder. Cut into steaks about 1.5 inches wide.
  2. Prepare marinade by combining all remaining ingredients. Mix well and set aside 4 tablespoons and store in the fridge- this will be used to baste the pork when finishing.
  3. Put the steaks in plastic bags or a dish with the marinade. Mix well and refrigerate overnight.
  4. Prepare sous vide cooker, heating to 140F. Seal steaks properly and put in the water. Cook for 8 hours.

Finishing Steps

  1. When finished cooking, remove steaks and arrange on a baking tray. Brush with the saved marinade and add additional housin sauce if desired.
  2. Heat oven to brook and broil pork until crisp and bubbly, about 7-10 minutes.
  3. Serve with soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and roasted sesame seeds for dipping. Enjoy!
