Ingredients
- 12 Eggs
- 5.3 oz Gruyere Cheese - Shredded
- 3 Cups Cottage Cheese
- 3 Tbsp Grass Fed Butter - Softened
- 8-10 Shakes of Cholua
- Pinch of Salt
- Pinch of White Pepper
- 1/2 Cup Heavy Cream
- Option Ingredients - 1/2 Cup / Roasted Veggies / Bacon / Kale / Mushrooms / Whatever You Like With Eggs!
- 3 oz Parmesan Grated
Directions
- Set your Anova Sous Vide Precision Cooker to 172ºF / 77.8ºC
- Add everything except the Parmesan to a blender and mix until combined…about 1 minute.
- After mixing everything in the blender. Take your 8oz mason jars & spray the inside & the lid with cooking spray.
- Sprinkle a little bit of the Parmesan cheese at the bottom of each mason jar. Slowly pour desired amount of egg mixture into a mason jar.
Top with optional ingredient if desired & sprinkle the rest of the Parmesan cheese on top.
- Screw all the lids on & carefully place jars into the water bath.
Finishing Steps
- After one hour has passed. Take the jars from the water bath let them cool.
- Once cool enough to touch…open and enjoy, put in the oven to put a nice crust on or put them in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
- When ready to serve take the egg bite out of the mason jar, cut the egg bite in half & place on a baking tray.
Bake at 475° oven for 8-12 minutes.
