Ingredients
- 2.5-3.5 lbs bone in rib eye steak (prime is best)
- Salt
- Corse Pepper
- Favorite Beef Rub
- Crushed Garlic Cloves
- Butter
Directions
- Add Salt and Pepper generously to the steak
- Vacuum seal and let rest overnight in the refrigerator
- Set Anova to temperature and add meat
- Cook for 3 hours
- Remove and let rest until temperature reaches 40’F. (I do it over night)
- Remove from bag and dry with paper towels then add your favorite rub
- Set your smoker to 225 and smoke until internal temperature reaches 135 then remove
- Head a cast iron skillet to 300-400.
- Mix crushed garlic and butter into a paste and rub on one side of the steak. Place the steak on the hot griddle for 2-3 minutes. Rub the second half of the steak with the garlic butter paste and turn and grill for another 2-3 minutes.
- Remove and let rest for 5 minutes under a foil tent before slicing into 1/4 inch slices.
Serve with your favorite potatoes and vegetables dish
