Bacon Gruyere Egg Bites

  1. Preheat your Anova to 171 degrees.
  2. Lightly grease the bottom and sides inside all 12 jars.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine eggs, cream cheese, salt and pepper and beat until smooth.
  4. Shred the gruyere and divide evenly into the bottom of each jar.
  5. Crumble the bacon and divide evenly into the bottom of each jar.
  6. Pour egg mixture into each jar (about 1/2 cup per jar).
  7. Seal jars finger tight and immerse in water bath for 1 hour.
  8. Remove from water after 1 hour and allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Finishing Steps

  1. Run a butter knife around the sides of the jar and turn out onto a plate.
  2. Top with green onion or sour cream and enjoy!
  3. To reheat, microwave on medium heat for 30-60 seconds.
