Ingredients
- Tuna steak
- Salt
- Fresh thyme
- Olive oil
- 1/2 c white sesame seeds
- 1/4 c black sesame seeds
- Pepper
Directions
- Set your Anova Sous Vide Precision Cooker to 105.0ºF / 40.6ºC.
- Salt & pepper steaks with a light brush of EVOO. Add fresh thyme. Bag the steaks. Add to cooker. Use water disbursement method.
- Combine sesame seeds on a plate
Stovetop
- After an hour, heat up cast iron skillet over medium high heat.
- While pan is heating, cover all sides of steak with sesame seeds.
- When pan starts to smoke add oil. Sear steaks 1 1/2 minutes on each side. White seeds turn golden.
