  1. Rub Montreal steak spice all over exterior of steak, including sides.
  2. Place steak in bag and seal.
  3. Preheat water and lower bag into container.
  4. Cook until ANOVA beeps.
  5. Remove steak from water and bag, pat dry thoroughly.

Finishing Steps

  1. Re-season if desired.
  2. Heat cast iron pan or skillet on high heat and add canola oil.
  3. Sear meat for 30-60 seconds on all sides, including edges.
