Ingredients for 1

  • 1 Inch New York Strip

  • Salt and Pepper to preference

  • Rosemary to preference

Directions

  • Step 1

    Season the steak, adding rosemary to each side, and place it into the bag

  • Step 2

    Set your Anova Sous Vide Precision Cooker to 130.0ºF / 54.4ºC.

  • Step 3

    Once the Sous Vide container is pre-heated, place the steak into your container for 1 hour

  • Step 4

    After the hour, remove the bag and let the steak rest for 5 minutes.

    • Cast Iron Finish

    • Step 0

      Heat up a cast iron skillet until smoking and add in your HIGH smoke point oil.

    • Step 1

      Sear each steak surface for 30 seconds each side, and edges for 15 seconds, adding butter and rosemary to preference.

    • Step 2

      Let the steak rest 5 minutes and serve. Remember to cut against the grain. Enjoy!
