Ingredients for 1

  • 4 pounds of wings and drum stick. I suggest getting the whole wings and breaking them apart. A lot cheaper

  • Cooking oil Such as canola oil or peanut oil

  • Find a jar of your favorite spices mix for wings or chicken

  • Two vacuum seal bags or ziplock bags

  • Wings sauce

  • Hot sauce

Directions

  • Step 1

    Set your Anova Sous Vide Precision Cooker to 140.0ºF / 60.0ºC.

  • Step 2

    Cover wings with spices

  • Step 3

    Separate the wings from the drumsticks and put each in their own vacuum sealed bag

  • Step 4

    Place the vacuum sealed bags in the Sous Vide

  • Step 5

    Prep Dutch oven or cast iron pan for frying oil. You will need the oil to be 375 f temp

  • Step 6

    Take wings out of the Sous Vide and cut out of bag. Take a temperature and they will be around 140. Be careful, the chicken is still raw at this point

  • Step 7

    Pat dry with paper towel

  • Step 8

    Cooking in oil for 3 mins. I did this in 4 batches

      Take half the wings and toss in your favorite wing sauce. I used stubs bbq sweet heat
